At HWC our goal is to provide our customers with the most affordable, reliable electricity in the region.

Our customers enjoy some of Maine's lowest electric rates because of low delivery service charge.

Rates

Our current residential electric charge is broken down as follows:

	Customer charge	$3.96
	Energy charge	$0.05387
	Delivery charge	$0.01946
	Transmission adjustment	$0.010

Based on 500 kilowatt-hours (kWh). An average bill is approximately .09 cents a kWh. For residential customers the 1st 750 kWh is tax exempt anything over is taxable. All commercial customers are taxed on the complete amount.

Please Note

Our present Standard Offer contract for energy ends February 28, 2008. As of March 1, 2008, we anticipate a new contract that will likely push our total Residential/Commercial rate to 12.5 Cents per KWh.
